Shaniwar Wada

Shaniwar Wada - Shaniwarwada (Śanivāravāḍā) also known as Shanwarwada is a historical fortification in the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India. Built in 1732, it was the seat of the Peshwas of the Maratha Empire until 1818, when the Peshwas lost control to the British East India Company after the Third Anglo-Maratha War. Following the rise of the Maratha Empire, the palace became the center of Indian politics in the 18th century. The fort itself was largely destroyed in 1828 by an unexplained fire, but the surviving structures are now maintained as a tourist site.


Kune Falls

Kune Falls - The Kune Falls is a waterfall at Lonavla in Pune district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the 14th highest waterfall in India. Kune Falls, located centrally within the Lonavala Khandala valley is a three tiered waterfalls with a total height of 200 metres (660 ft); the highest drop being 100 metres (330 ft).


Khadakwasla Dam - Khadakwasla Dam is a dam on the Mutha River 21 km (13 mi) from the centre of the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India. The dam created a reservoir known as Khadakwasla Lake which is the main source of water for Pune and its suburbs.
