Books4cars began from his manual collection when a mechanic and was built up by Alex over many years of travelling the world as part of his engineering career. The book sales business was incorporated in March of 1997. As inventory and sales grew, Alex took leave from his engineering career to tend to book sales. After 16 years of fun in the automotive community of Detroit, Alex decided to move back to his roots in Seattle.
