BLUJ Aero was founded with a bold vision: to revolutionise transportation by significantly reducing travel times and enhancing accessibility. With a mission to cut transportation time by at least 3X, we are pioneering the development of hydrogen-electric propulsion systems for VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. Our journey began with the realisation that traditional ground infrastructure cannot keep pace with the increasing demand for faster and safer delivery of goods. High costs and inefficiencies in regional transportation further highlighted the need for an innovative solution.
In response, we set out to build the largest aircraft by a private company in India, leveraging our team’s extensive experience in start-ups, rockets, aircraft, and electric vehicles (EVs). Our solution eliminates the need for airports, offers speeds surpassing most helicopters, and remains affordable while carrying heavy payloads. Sustainability is at the core of our innovation, with hydrogen-electric propulsion providing a green aviation solution that outperforms batteries in range, lifecycle, and refuelling time.
