Shuaiba Industrial Company (K.P.S.C) was established with the name “Shuaiba Paper Products Company” in 1978, as a pioneering company in the field of multiwall Kraft paper Bags manufacturer, in the GCC region.
It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company from BVQI. It is also the first paper packaging manufacturer in Kuwait to be awarded HACCP Certification from BVQI conforming to all the local environmental and quality regulations of the State of Kuwait and recently, SIC was awarded recently from Kuwait Government being one of the Best Plant Exporter in Kuwait for year 2013. Til date we are exporting around 65% of our production to the global market.
Almost 39 years of establishment of the company, we have enhanced our capacity in the region through a new manufacturing plant called Shuaiba Industrial Company, JAFZA operating at Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority in United Arab Emirates, a 100% owned by Shuaiba Industrial Company (K.P.S C.).
With a joint venture in KSA as Yanbu Saudi Kuwaiti Paper Products Company Ltd., KSA, it is a Joint venture with Yanbu Cement Company, one of the largest cement Plants in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this was established in 2005 and SIC holds a 40% stake of this JV.
