HCP is a multidisciplinary professional practice focused on design, architecture and urbanism. It was founded by Hasmukh C. Patel, a distinguished architect of India, in 1960. Today, the practice is managed by senior professionals within the firm, led by Dr. Bimal Patel. It has over 350 people and offices in Ahmedabad, Delhi, Pune and Chennai. Its experienced professionals are skilled at tackling challenging architectural design, interior design, furniture design, conservation, landscape, urban design, urban planning, communications, research, engineering, project management and construction monitoring problems. HCP's approach is to focus on the specific objectives and constraints posed by each project and to creatively come up with simple and elegant solutions that balance practical, aesthetic and ethical considerations. The practice is organized around its Architecture and Urbanism Studios and supported by a number of Studio and Practice Support Groups. We take great pride in our work and our collaborative and systematic work culture. We strongly believe in nurturing the growth and development of all our members and have a long history of successfully working on some of the most difficult and important challenges of our times.
