The year 2024 marks the celebration of thirteen (13) years of life and operation of the Agricultural Bank of Niger (BAGRI).
The Agricultural Bank of Niger (BAGRI) was created following the bankruptcy of the national agricultural credit fund. One of its missions was agricultural financing.
The Agricultural Bank of Niger aims to increase the volume of financing for agricultural products provided to Agriculture in the overall support to the economy. “Our ambition would be to show that financing for small farmers is possible,” confided the Director General of BAGRI before specifying that it is the first bank in the UEMOA area outside BOAD, to have obtained from the Board of Directors of the Green Fund, financing for an envelope of ten (10) million dollars in favor of Nigerien producers.
