Indian Companies That Contributed To The Mars Mission

India's Mars mission, known as the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) or Mangalyaan, was led by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), but many Indian companies played crucial roles in developing the technology, manufacturing components, and providing support. Here are some key Indian companies that contributed to the Mars mission:

1. Godrej Aerospace

   - Contribution: Godrej Aerospace, a division of Godrej & Boyce, provided critical hardware for the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) that launched the Mangalyaan probe. They supplied components like Vikas engines for the rocket, which is crucial for the second stage of the launch.

2. Larsen & Toubro (L&T)

    - Contribution*:  L&T contributed to building ground infrastructure and launch facilities. They helped in the fabrication of the launch pad systems and other engineering services.
