Our lead engineers in every department are among the most experienced in the aerospace industry. Together, they represent more than a century of aerospace innovation. They’ve designed everything from fighter aircraft to business jets and UAVs. These veterans have mentored and nurtured a group of Israel’s most talented young engineers. Together, we have our feet on the ground and our eyes on the future.
OUR EXPERTISE : Metro Skyways has brought together a group of some of the most experienced engineers in the aerospace industry. Their decades of experience in designing and certifying FAA approved aircraft is virtually unparalleled outside of the world’s largest aerospace manufacturers.
Our team leaders are veterans of Israel Aerospace Industries, Northrop Grumman and Boeing Commercial Aircraft. They have designed fighter jets (Israel’s ”Lavi”) and corporate jets (Westwind). They have modified and certified the modification of passenger 747s to cargo configurations and they were pioneers in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) when they designed the first operational surveillance drone. They were also among the first groups to modify a manned helicopter to unmanned.
This extraordinary level of expertise is being passed down to a group of some of the most talented young engineers in Israel who are the foundation of Metro Skyways’ bright future for years to come.
